An initiative from Hungama to celebrate and encourage diversity with the hope of seeing more women breaking barriers and glass ceilings in the entertainment space across Music, Video and Gaming.
About Us
Hungama is South Asia’s leading entertainment destination and as such we believe that to encourage more women in executive, creative, behind the scenes and screens leadership roles in entertainment, we must amplify the women who have been game changers to the world of entertainment. As outstanding creative professionals, executives, founders, creators and gamers. This is an exciting opportunity for us to create and build the role models to serve as inspiration for young women of this community! Our intention is to celebrate 50 game changers from the field of entertainment – Cinema, Music and gaming annually.
Our Aim
The lack of mentorship and role models limits women to certain roles within entertainment with few women being seen in leadership roles. Our program will be based on a list of women game changers who have been able to find their place in the world of entertainment. We are putting together an advisory panel of representatives from all the core areas of entertainment that have a keen interest in the implementation and outcome of such a program to ensure our list year on year balances the young and reckless with the path breakers and helps the panel identify strong women who would be an asset to the generation of women exploring these careers at this time.
